Terms & Conditions
Last updated: November 6, 2026
These Terms & Conditions apply to your use of the BCS Mobile Notary website (bcsnotary.com), our text messaging, and our mobile notary services. By using them, you agree to these terms.
Text messaging (SMS) terms
- Program description. BCS Mobile Notary uses the phone number (979) 701-2198 to reply to customers who text us first. Messages relate only to your inquiry and appointment: answers to your questions, price quotes, scheduling, and appointment confirmations or updates. We do not send marketing or promotional messages.
- How you opt in. You opt in by sending a text message to (979) 701-2198. By texting us, you agree to receive conversational replies from us about your request. Consent is not a condition of purchase — you can always call or email us instead.
- How to opt out. You can cancel at any time. Reply STOP to any message. After you send STOP, we will send one message to confirm you’ve been unsubscribed and will not text you again. If you want to resume, simply text us again.
- Help. If you have trouble with our messaging, reply HELP for assistance, or contact us directly at (979) 701-2198 or hello@bcsnotary.com.
- Message frequency varies based on your conversation with us.
- Message and data rates may apply for any messages sent to you from us and to us from you. Contact your wireless provider for details about your plan.
- Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
- Privacy. See our Privacy Policy. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
Notary services
- Not legal advice. A notary public is not an attorney and may not give legal advice, prepare legal documents, or explain the legal effect of a document. Consult an attorney if you need legal guidance.
- Identification. Every signer must appear in person and present a valid, unexpired, government-issued photo ID. We may refuse a notarization if identity cannot be satisfactorily proven, if a signer appears not to understand the document or to be signing under pressure, or if the request is otherwise improper under Texas law.
- Document content. You are responsible for the accuracy, completeness, and legality of your documents. A notarization verifies the signer’s identity and signature; it does not verify the truth of the document’s contents.
- Unsigned documents. Please do not sign documents before the appointment unless instructed; certain notarizations require signing in the notary’s presence.
Pricing, payment & cancellations
- We quote your full price before booking. Notary fees for each notarial act follow Texas limits; travel and service fees are separate and disclosed upfront.
- Payment is due at the appointment unless other arrangements were made in advance.
- Travel and service fees may still apply if the appointment cannot be completed because of missing signers, missing or invalid ID, incomplete documents, or a late cancellation.
- Please let us know as soon as possible if you need to reschedule or cancel.
Website
Our website is provided for general information. Prices and estimates shown on the site, including the cost calculator, are estimates only; your confirmed quote controls.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, BCS Mobile Notary is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of our website, messaging, or services. Our total liability for any claim related to a service will not exceed the amount you paid for that service. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under Texas law.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date above shows when they last changed.
